National Security Adviser Eduardo SL Oban Jr. received New Zealand Ambassador to the Philippines, H.E. Dr. Catherine McIntosh, during a courtesy call in Quezon City last month.
NSA Oban and Ambassador McIntosh exchanged views on regional security developments and discussed opportunities to further strengthen Philippines–New Zealand cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including defense, security, and maritime affairs.
Both sides reaffirmed the strong partnership between the Philippines and New Zealand and underscored the importance of continued cooperation in promoting a rules-based international order, regional stability, and a secure and prosperous Indo-Pacific region.
