The National Security Council joins the weeklong observance of Philippine Space Week, led by the Philippine Space Agency (PhilSA). This year’s celebration honors the contributions of Filipinos, here and abroad, who champion technological innovation, sound policies, and cooperation for the peaceful, responsible, and sustainable use of outer space.
With the theme “Navigating Together,” inspired by ASEAN 2026’s “Navigating Our Future, Together,” PhilSA looks ahead by preparing to launch the Multispectral Unit for Land Assessment (MULA) satellite. This innovation aims to further strengthen the use of space data to address pressing national concerns – disaster resilience, food security, and national security – ensuring that space science contributes directly to a safer and more sustainable future for the Filipino people.
Be part of Philippine Space Week 2026!
From August 8-14, PhilSA will host a lineup of activities to highlight the role of space science and technology in building a more informed and resilient future for al Filipinos.
